Who Is This For?

This program is appropriate for school age children through high school. This class includes a dissection of real crustaceans, and the handling of gloves, scissors, and sharp probes. Please take this into consideration when deciding if this program is right for your child.

This class has a focus on experiental learning, so students are encouraged to ask questions about things they find along the way. It will be fun and hands on for the younger students, while still being challenging enough for older students. This is not a drop off program.

What to Bring

Sunscreen, Water bottle, Shoes & clothes that can get wet

Swimsuits are welcome, however we will not be entering the water deeper than knee height during the class. Feel free to stay after if you want to picnic and swim.

Weather & Tides

This class is weather permitting. Due to the fact that we will be in the ocean to catch critters, if there is risk of lightning or red flag water conditions, this class will be rescheduled. If we need to reschedule, you will recieve an email 12-24 hours prior to the event starting.
